Led by Chief Information Officer, Paula Felstead, the function is made up of the Technology team, who make the magic happen across the business and who keep our systems and data well protected, the Data CoE who build, run and optimise all our data under one roof, the Corporate Development team who are responsible for driving the inorganic growth of HBX.
The team led by Miguel Ángel Royano is responsible for the execution of HBX's inorganic strategy, through actions such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures and strategic partnerships. Its purpose is to capture upside opportunities and accelerate growth beyond the existing business plan, while supporting the company's long-term objectives and ensuring close alignment with the technological strategy.

Led by Andrés Llamas, the Cyber Security team is responsible for protecting the company's digital assets, systems and data, by identifying and stopping threats, responding to security incidents, managing risks and putting strong security measures in place. Their motto is 'better safe than sorry'!
- Ensure the maintenance and functionality of the SIEM system while coordinating with the red and blue teams.
- Asses potential security incidents to determine their validity and impact.
- Oversee the identification and implementation of necessary security patches.

Led by the Group Data Director, Sam Desormonts, this Centre of Excellence builds on the existing structure of the Data Lab, the Data Architecture Quality & Governance (Tech) and the Data Delivery (Tech) teams all working together alongside the Salesforce & Agile Chapter teams to continue our journey towards being a data centric company, fully leveraging AI and digitalisation.
- Our HolidayTaxis Tech team develops, manages and maintains the Holiday Taxis Transfers Booking Platform, which allows for the creation and management of transfers bookings, including the distribution/fulfilment of transfer bookings from MITRA. The platform consists of multiple applications, including Webservics 2.0, Supplier Connect, CheckPickup, Agent & Supplier Portals and Admin.

- Looking after our Carnect business unit, this team is responsible for developing new features based on the needs and requirements of its stakeholders.
- They continuously improve the platform and fix any issues to ensure it functions smoothly, and works to keep the platform running as close to 100% as possible.
- The teams also manages technical debt, identifying opportunities to address and resolve it from past developments.

- The Enterprise Architecture and Governance team is in charge of creating and maintaining the Enterprise architecture framework, which includes all Architecture landscape from business processes (Business Architecture) to technologies (Application and Technology Architecture) and rules and guides to govern them with the right level of quality and standardisation.They build and develop necessary tools to manage it. They also participate in main delivery initiatives assessing impact analysis, strategic advisory and addressing solution to the right direction in accordance with governance rules defined in the framework.

- The key roles of the Solution Architecture team are to lead application architecture references in function of the Enterprise / technology strategy and business roadmaps, to design the solution architecture and identify opportunity to reduce technical debt during projects analysis and to support the delivery teams during the implementations.
