Offices today are much more than functional spaces — they’re places for connection, creativity and wellbeing. They shape how people feel, collaborate and innovate, and reflect a company’s identity and values. At HBX Group, we believe our offices should inspire, support and align with our purpose. Designing sustainable spaces is not only an environmental responsibility — it’s a way to care for our people and foster a culture of innovation and inclusion.
Why opt for sustainable offices?
- Talent retention and attraction: People want to work in environments that reflect their values. A sustainable, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed space speaks volumes about a company’s culture.
- Boosting creativity and collaboration: Inspiring spaces support creative thinking, help teams connect more easily, and encourage new ideas to emerge. Employee wellbeing: Using non-toxic materials, maximising natural light, and designing ergonomic, inclusive spaces positively impact both mental and physical health — and ultimately, productivity.
- Energy efficiency and resource savings: LED lighting, smart HVAC systems, and the use of renewable energy reduce energy consumption and operating costs. Employee well-being: Toxic-free materials, natural light, and spaces designed for comfort and ergonomics improve the health and productivity of those who work there.
- Waste reduction and circular economy: Reusing furniture, using recycled materials, and proper waste management minimize environmental impact and promote a more responsible production model.
- Corporate reputation and commitment: Having sustainable offices reinforces the company's commitment to sustainability, improving its image with clients, investors, and employees.
With the opening of our new offices in Mallorca, we wanted to go a step further in creating an environment that reflects our values, focusing on solutions that reduce our environmental impact and promote people's well-being. To achieve this, we focused on three four key aspects:
HBX Group and its new offices: utilizing a sustainable approach
Make your offices a sustainable space: the case of HBX Group
This project is an example of how design, social responsibility, and sustainability can come together to create a positive impact. At HBX Group, we continue to invest in initiatives that allow us to grow responsibly while contributing to the well-being of our community.
Traza Furniture: our partner in sustainable transformation
To make this transformation a reality, we worked with Traza, a company specializing in the selection and distribution of sustainable furniture for public and private spaces. Its approach is based on a model where sustainability, quality, and purpose are the DNA of every choice. Traza manages the design of spaces holistically, ensuring that each selected piece has a positive environmental and social impact. Its work model includes:
- Selection of products with environmental and social certifications.
- Minimizing the carbon footprint in furniture production and transportation.
- Commitment to the responsible use of resources and waste reduction.
